Son’s College Graduation-Go Green#MSU
We could not have asked for anything more..everything was perfect.... it was a dream come true. The Inn, service, and beautiful grounds will not disappoint.
The inn is so charming. This is a top-notch 5+ star facility and Sooney (owner) is a fantastic cook. We had terrific daily brunches from sour cream pancakes with their own homemade syrup. Homemade yogurt parfaits to Bananas Foster French Toast to homemade vegetable quiche right out of the garden to a magnificent four-cheese quiche. An out-of-this-world fabulous charcuterie board from dark chocolates to fresh fruits, homemade dips and homemade breads/crackers to the meats, and homemade preserves, so many options to choose from. The best presentation I have ever seen nationally. Then the best homemade Lasagna, like grandma would make. Homemade brownies and cakes to die for.
The owners- Mike and Sooney, had the best southern charm and hospitality at its most pleasing the Michigander way. All was wonderful—every last-minute request was taken care of with promptness, courtesy, and with ease. Thank you for making beautiful memories for us all...Our son’s college graduation events could not have been any better! You guys rocked it. The memories we are leaving with will last us a lifetime and more.
We so appreciate Llama's experience, Mike. The llamas were the icing on the cake . The kids so enjoyed it as well. The hot tub was a bonus helping us to relax after a busy day. We are leaving blessed and honored to have met you guys. -Melissa

Can't say enough good things about the Willowicke Inn. It is fabulous! The accommodations, amenties, grounds, Llama farm, and breakfast are the best we have ever had for our high school girls getaway. It is an ideal location, near shopping and restaurants. Sooney is a delightful hostess who made our stay very pleasant. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and hours of conversation. My friends and I highly recommend the Willowicke Inn. August 31,2016

My sister chose Willowicke for her wedding venue. The views were breathtaking, and grounds were immaculate. The weather on the wedding day ended up rainy, and we had a beautiful backup location inside of a barn, and it turned out even BETTER than we imagined! The owners Sooney and Mike were SO accommodating and wonderful, and the food was AMAZING! Everything was perfect! If you want to have a quaint, quiet, and intimate setting, THIS is the place to go! We stayed for four nights in June 2016 and it couldn't have been better!! Soony was an amazing host and went above and beyond to accommodate us with our 5 month old baby, even buying a pack n'play and bath seat for him to use while we were there! She also allowed us to use the common areas to host some colleagues since I had research meetings to conduct while in town. The breakfasts were amazing and the rooms spotless and beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous, too, and we loved sitting on the front porch, looking at the surrounding farmland. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the area. Highly, highly recommend!!! Perfect place to stay with family and friends.
This place is fantastic, especially if you travel with a group. The first floor has an amazing kitchen area perfect for playing board/card games, a sitting area to hang out with all your buddies and chit chat late into the night and a nice little library area if you just want some quiet time to read and snuggle up in a comfy chair.
The fridge is stocked with drinks, there is a convenient coffee/tea station and then that cookie jar which I couldn't resist.
I stayed in the spinning loft upstairs. The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom was well stocked with soft towels. It was perfect.
Do not stay here if you are on a diet ;) The breakfast is just too delicious. Lots of fresh fruit, juice, granola, homemade blue berry pancakes, carrot muffins, chocolate muffins, crispy bacon and delicious breakfast casseroles!! The host was also super sweet to make special dishes for my sister-in-laws (one was a vegetarian and the other was allergic to all dairy).
I didn't get to see the llamas because it was raining when we were there but I did get to see the cutest labs !!! I highly recommend this place.
